MGM Resorts manages all of their brand resort sites using one centralized news hub, giving each resort the digital tools to create, manage, and distribute news content. The MGM Resorts homepage highlights a variety of news features from their various properties while also allowing the news consumer to easily navigate to a single resort property.
Each property page highlights featured news with a rotating carousel, featured photos and a social media wall highlighting their Instagram and Twitter accounts. The stories consist of brand journalism pieces about various events taking place at the resort, upgrades to convention centers, and content centered around upcoming entertainment.
One can also find press kits, high and low resolution images, video, story ideas and archived press releases. A vast database of photos is searchable by keyword tag, date range and specific resort property, making it easy for journalists to find the right picture for their stories and giving brand enthusiasts a trove of multimedia to share via social media.
